Here are some common questions we receive from parents to hopefully put your mind at ease:
What if the supervisor and I are not a good fit? Will I be assigned someone different?
Yes, the director will deal with any issues that arise.
Are off-site visits allowed?
Yes, by mutual agreement of both parents and the supervisor. Only if the court order does not specifically prohibit it. This comes at an additional cost, determined by your supervisor.
When Does Supervised Visitation End
Usually the court will order that supervised visitation end and unsupervised visits start. In some cases, the parents also agree to ending formalized supervised visitation.
What happens if I’m running late or can’t make it?
We try to be as understanding as possible. However, if there is a late cancellation, the regular visit fee will be charged and must be paid prior to the next visit being scheduled. If you are running late, again we will try to work with you and the custodial parent, but if you are 15 minutes late, the visit may be canceled for the day.
How do I pay for supervised visitation?
In addition to cash and checks, we accept credit cards. There is a 4% fee to use your credit card.
How are visits scheduled?
Phone call, text message, or email.
What qualifications / certifications do staff members have?
All staff members have at least the minimum 24-hour training certification as required by the Family Code section 3200.5 and California Rules of Court 5.20.
